History

Keystone Castor Company Ltd. has been a part of the Birmingham business community since it began trading as Bradshaw Industrial Supplies in 1923.

Established in the Birmingham gun quarter as a general hardware merchant, the company grew throughout the 1950's and 1960's. The business naturally evolved and diversified its product range with this organic growth. By the late 1960's the business was trading in trucks and trolleys, barrows and ladders, castors and wheels and 1967 saw the company move to larger premises in Digbeth and change its name to Keystone Trading Company.

In 1980 the strategic decision was made that Keystone Trading Co. could best serve its customers by focusing on Castors and Wheels and strengthen the experience and knowledge needed to operate in this market niche.

By 1985, it was apparent that larger premises were required and the company moved to its current premises at the Bull Ring Trading Estate with the name Keystone Castor Company to reflect its specialisation.

Today, Keystone Castors is a national business with satellite distribution outlets in Bristol and Manchester supporting our growing national customer-base.
