Our Extra Heavy Duty Pressed Steel Castors have individual load capacities of over 500kg per castor and are designed for demanding industrial applications involving high loads, continuous movement and harsh operating conditions.
Rather than us...ing vague terms such as “light-duty” or “heavy-duty”, we categorise these castors by actual load capacity. With castors ranging from 27kg to over 6000kg in our range, load rating provides a far more accurate guide when selecting the correct castor. If your equipment and payload exceed approximately 1500kg total load across 4 castors, this range is typically the correct starting point. These castors are commonly used on:

Plate Fixings for High Load Applications
Due to the loads involved, all castors in this range use heavy-duty rectangular top plate fixings, available with various bolt hole centres to suit different equipment designs.
