Medium Duty Pressed Steel Castors have a load capacity between 101kg to 250kg Individual Castor Load Capacity.A castor's load capacity is usually the first criteria that needs to be identified. If you need to carry a total load (including the transport equipment) over 4 castors of between 300kg or and 750kg...>, these are the castors for you. Your next criteria is likely to be how you're going to attach the castors and there are two main choices. A rectangular Plate Fixing or a Single Bolt Hole Fitting.
Next comes the Castor and Wheels. Our medium duty pressed steel castors have complete. These include Nylon/Polypropylene, Blue Elastic Rubber Tyre, Polyurethane (both Injection Moulded or Bonded), Grey or Black Rubber Tyre, Cast Iron.
Some users have specific bearing requirements too. A Smooth Plain Bore is simply a smooth hole in the middle of the wheel and the lowest cost option. The Nylon Wheel has a low tractive resistance making it easier to get moving compared with softer rubber tread wheels. Together with the strength of nylon and because it wont damage concrete floors, this makes nylon wheel castors probably the most popular choice. The roller bearing lowers the rolling resistance to reduce the effort required to move the castors. Put this wheel into a strong bracket that has a double ball race in the swivel head makes this castor a great choice for the widest range of industrial and domestic applications.
