Pressed Steel Castors
Pressed Steel Castors are great for a wide variety of material handling and transport equipment. They make ideal castors for trolleys, shop-fitting equipment, displays, institutional and medical equipment. Pressed steel castors are available as Swivel Only, Swivel & Brake or Fixed (Rigid) castors.<...br />Secure to your equipment by either Top Plate fastening or a single Bolt Hole Fitting. These can be fitted with expanders to meet your requirements.
A single ball race swivel castor is suitable for use as light-duty castors for apparatus and transportation (e.g. trolleys) and enables good steering with a compact design.
A double ball race swivel castor is used as medium-duty castors and heavy-duty castors, providing excellent performance under heavier loads than a single ball race. Extra-heavy-duty castors are suitable for loadings over 500kg.
Pressed steel castors can be purchased as replacement castors or as a new component to transform stationary equipment into a mobile unit, such as Manual Handling Trollies, Dollies, platform trucks, hand-pushed carts and workbenches. The required load capacity of a single castor will depend not only on the load to be carried but also other variables such as floor condition and trolley or dolly wheel configuration.
