Tube Fitting Expanders
Tube fitting expanders are components commonly referred to as "Tube expander fittings" or “Tube Expanders”. An expander fitting is attached to a single bolt hole castor to adapt it for tube frame attachment.Tube expander fittings are attached to the castor with a bolt, and inserted into the base of a round or square ho...llow tube, usually the leg of a frame. When the threaded stem is screwed into the interior of the tube, the expander widens to fill the tube, pressing firmly against the inner wall to secure the castor.
Choosing Tube Expander Fittings
To select the right expander fitting, measure the inside diameter of your tube. You can select a round or square expander depending on the shape of the tube. For example, if the inside diameter of a round tube is 22mm, simply select a round expander that expands from 21.5mm to 24mm.
