The braking mechanism on this product is a wheel brake only. This means that when the brake is applied the brake acts only on the castor wheels while the castor's swivel head is free to turn.
This castor has a top plate measuring 170mm x 170mm with bolt hole spacings of 130mm x 130mm drilled to 13mm diameter. The two Polyurethane Tyre on a Cast Iron Centre wheels each have ball bearings fitted to reduce the rolling resistance.
The castor has a 1,000kg Load Rating at 4km/h
