The bracket body is fabricated in heavy duty steel and the castor housing is zinc plated. The Telescopic Compression starts at 20kg of pressure and is fully compressed at 30kg with a maximum travel of 65mm The side mounted plate has 12mm fixing bolt holes that are spaced 190mm apart and the mounted bracket will protrude 78mm from the gate it has been fitted to. Gate castors are important to support large doors or heavy sliding steel gates. Our gate castors are spring loaded and this self levelling spring incorporated into the gate castor copes with uneven floors and provides support for the door to alleviate some of the strain on the hinges. Furthermore, a suitable gate castor will prevent damage to your flooring caused by the door or gate dragging on the floor.

This wheel suits either 16mm (5/8") or 19mm (3/4") axles and is sold with spacers to vary the hub wheel's hub length (the distance through the central bore). With a 180kg load capacity it is suitable for heavy duty applications. This flat-free universal replacement wheelbarrow wheel has a rib tread and a 75mm Tread Width. It has a special foam filled tyre that has the same cushioning and bounce as a typical pneumatic wheel. As the name suggests, it has the added benefit of not being susceptible to punctures from nails and other sharp objects.Changing the bore size:
The hub of this wheel arrives to you fitted with a 16mm (5/8" bearing). This can be removed and replaced with 19mm (3/4" bushes) wheel bushes if needed. The 19mm bushings are included in the kit. To change the bore size simply remove the existing bearings by gently prising both out with a screwdriver and hammer. To prevent damaging the new bushings when knocking them in gently with a hammer, it is recommended that a piece of wood is placed over the bearing:
The wheel has a 75mm hub (the distance through the central bore). This can be extended to suit your wheelbarrow by the use of the spacers supplied (see image below for details):
When replacing your wheelbarrow's front wheel, it is advised that you remove the wheel from the wheelbarrow and check the shaft size and the hub length (the distance through the central bore) before purchasing.
