This is a high performance polyurethane tyred wheel with a load capacity of 300kg at 4km/h.As a high performance wheel it is often used in much more demanding applications than a standard polyurethane tyre castor wheel. As with all polyurethane tyred wheels, demanding applications involving extended periods of use or speeds greater 4 km/h the friction will generate heat build up in the polyurethane. REVVOTHANE is a high quality polyurethane that offers minimal heat build up and performs exceptionally well within the following guidelines:- If the wheel be in continual use for more than 45 minutes, this reduces the load capacity by 25%.
- The load capacity is reduced by a further 30% if used as Drive Wheel
- Reduce load by further 20% if the running speed is between 6 km/h and 10 km/h
- Reduce the load by a further 30% if the running speed is between 10 km/h and 16 km/h

This is a high quality, low maintenance, impact resistant wheel that has a high load capacity. The nylon material is extremely resistant to salts, greases, acids and alkalis and will not mark or damage concrete floors. This makes Nylon probably the most castor wheel material.
The wheel has a roller bearing in the hub (central part of the wheel) which consists of rollers made of steel within a cage. These rollers rotate between the axle tube and the wheel hub. This makes the rolling resistance of the bearing relatively slight, even under heavy loads. Roller bearings are rugged, robust and largely maintenance-free.
