The bracket body is fabricated in heavy duty steel and the castor housing is zinc plated. The Telescopic Compression starts at 20kg of pressure and is fully compressed at 30kg with a maximum travel of 65mm The side mounted plate has 12mm fixing bolt holes that are spaced 190mm apart and the mounted bracket will protrude 78mm from the gate it has been fitted to. Gate castors are important to support large doors or heavy sliding steel gates. Our gate castors are spring loaded and this self levelling spring incorporated into the gate castor copes with uneven floors and provides support for the door to alleviate some of the strain on the hinges. Furthermore, a suitable gate castor will prevent damage to your flooring caused by the door or gate dragging on the floor. -
