The Brake is a Total Stop Brake which is also known as a Swivel and Wheel Brake. This means that when the brake is applied, the brake locks both the wheel and the swivel head. The Top Plate measure 105x80mm with 80x60mm Fixing Bolt Hole Centres. The bolt holes are slotted to 80/75x60/55mm and suits 8mm Bolts. The castor wheel is a white nylon wheel (polyamide) with a 32mm tread width and fitted with two precision ball bearings. The hard wheel is non-marking and has the lowest rolling and swivel resistance. This castor is an excellent all purpose heavy duty castor.
