To enable the castor to operate under heavy loads of up to 540kg each castor (1,620kg total load capacity with 4 castors fitted), the swivel head has a heavy duty double ball bearing race. The caster wheel is heavy duty nylon with a 46mm tread width and needle roller bearing to reduce the rolling resistance and is an ideal castor for heavy duty applications, such as business machines, where there is an height restriction. The black nylon castor wheel will not damage concrete floors. -

For the compression performance, please see the image for the curve by clicking on the thumbnail image above. To use this curve, please calculate the weight being carried by this castor and divide that by the one less than the number of castors on your equipment, So if you have a trolley using 4 of these castors and the total weight being carried is 500kg, then the compression of the rubber pad is the reading given on the y axis at 167kg (500kg / 3 = 167kg) which is between 11 and 12mm.
