Crown Tread Wheels - PU Tyre
Crown Tread Wheels make it easier to push/pull and change direction compared with standard flat tread wheels. They are often referred to as ergonomic wheels. Our crown tread wheels have PU tyres on a cast iron centre with a 20mm bore and ball bearings.Ergonomic wheels or Crown tread castor wheels can be used in swivel and ...fixed castors. Their curved tread profile makes turning far easier with heavy loads, as the friction between the tyre and floor is reduced.
While crown tread wheels make pushing and turning a trolley easier, they are not suitable for storage applications, as compression under a heavy load will form a flat spot over time. Use crown tread castors or ergonomic wheels to transport loads up to 750kg that will be unloaded at their destination.
