This is high performance industrial wheel and the stated load capacity of 300kg is based on the wheel being manually propelled at 4 km/h (walking speed).As a high performance wheel it can be used in more demanding applications than a standard polyurethane tyre castor wheel could be:As with all polyurethane tyre wheels, extended periods of use or speeds greater 4 km/h will result in surface friction. This friction generates heat that builds up in the polyurethane that will cause a standard polyurethane tyre to de-bond from the cast iron. REVVOTHANE is a very high quality polyurethane that offers minimal heat build up and performs exceptionally well within the following guidelines:- If the wheel be in continual use for more than 45 minutes, this reduces the load capacity by 25%.
- The load capacity is reduced by a further 30% if used as Drive Wheel
- Reduce load by further 20% if the running speed is between 6 km/h and 10 km/h
- Reduce the load by a further 30% if the running speed is between 10 km/h and 16 km/h
