Adjusting Load Ratings of Revvo PT Series Wheels
The different use cases of Revvo PT Designer Series Wheels can affect the wheels’ operating load capacity. Please note that the stated wheel loadings assume operation in ideal conditions in which the wheel operates:
- Infrequently
- On a smooth surface
- At speeds less than 6km/h
- Without axial loading.
For any of the following conditions, please reduce the maximum safe wheel loading:
(Reductions are Cumulative if more than one of these conditions is present)
Frequent / Prolonged Use:
If the wheel is to be in use for more than 45 minutes of continuous operation, reduce loadings by 25%
Driving Applications:
If the wheel is to be used as a drive wheel, reduce loads by 30%
Speeds of 6 - 10 km/h:
For operating speeds between 6km/h and 10 km/h, reduce loadings by 20%.
Speeds of 10 - 16km/h:
If operating speeds are between 10km/h and 16km/h, reduce loadings by 30%

This friction generates heat that builds up in the polyurethane that will cause a standard polyurethane tyre to de-bond from the cast iron. REVVOTHANE is a very high quality polyurethane that offers minimal heat build up and performs exceptionally well within the following guidelines:- If the wheel be in continual use for more than 45 minutes, this reduces the load capacity by 25%.
- The load capacity is reduced by a further 30% if used as Drive Wheel
- Reduce load by further 20% if the running speed is between 6 km/h and 10 km/h
