The swivel head has a double ball race with hardened ball race track. The brake is a Total Stop Brake which is also known as a Swivel and Wheel Brake. This type of brake locks both the wheel and the swivel head so that the swivel head will not rotate while the brake is applied. The Top Plate measure 105x80mm with 80x60mm Fixing Bolt Hole Centres. The bolt holes are slotted to 80/75x60/55mm and suits 8mm Bolts. The castor wheel is a white nylon wheel (polyamide) with a 40mm tread width and fitted with two precision ball bearings. The hard wheel is non-marking and has the lowest rolling and swivel resistance. This castor is an excellent all purpose heavy duty castor.
