The hub of this wheel arrives to you fitted with a 16mm (5/8" bearing). This can be removed and replaced with 19mm (3/4" bushes) wheel bushes if needed. The 19mm bushings are included in the kit.To change the bore size simply remove the existing bearings by gently prising both out with a screwdriver and hammer. To prevent damaging the new bushings when knocking them in gently with a hammer, it is recommended that a piece of wood is placed over the bearing:The wheel has a 75mm hub (the distance through the central bore). This is a high performance polyurethane tyred wheel with a load capacity of 300kg at 4km/h.As a high performance wheel it is often used in much more demanding applications than a standard polyurethane tyre castor wheel. As with all polyurethane tyred wheels, demanding applications involving extended periods of use or speeds greater 4 km/h the friction will generate heat build up in the polyurethane. REVVOTHANE is a high quality polyurethane that offers minimal heat build up and performs exceptionally well within the following guidelines:- If the wheel be in continual use for more than 45 minutes, this reduces the load capacity by 25%.
- The load capacity is reduced by a further 30% if used as Drive Wheel
- Reduce load by further 20% if the running speed is between 6 km/h and 10 km/h
- Reduce the load by a further 30% if the running speed is between 10 km/h and 16 km/h
