All these castor wheels can have various options for bearings: Roller, Ball or Plain Bearings.
About Caster Wheel Bearings
The type of bearing used in a castor wheel affects the running properties of it and therefore the mobility of the unit they are fitted to:
Plain Bore Bearings (Plain Bore)
This is the most economical type of bearing. In fact, there isn't one. The wheel turns around an axle tube. They are great if the equipment they are attached to does not have to move much and when it does without a great deal of weight on it. Under normal circumstances, they are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
Revvo PT Designer industrial wheels are available with a keyway.
Roller Bearings
This type has a series of steel rollers within a cage. The rollers rotate between the axle tube and the wheel hub. Using these bearings means that the rolling resistance of the bearing is very small, even under heavy load. This type of bearing is the most commonly used especially for transportation equipment. They are robust and generally maintenance free. Please note, in stainless steel castors the rollers are stainless steel and in high temperature wheels, the cage is made from steel.
Ball Bearings
Castor wheel ball bearings consist of a stamped sheet metal housing enclosing an inner and outer ring. The ball bearings run between these two rings. This type of bearing has excellent running properties even under very heavy loads and at high speeds. Because the bearings are sealed, these bearings do not need to be lubricated. This is the engineers choice for apparatus castors and heavy duty casters in most applications.Read More

Load Capacity = 150kg.Pneumatic Wheels are rubber tyres that are inflated with air. They are used in either a castor frame or mobile handling equipment such as garden trolleys, carts, sack trucks and other transport equipment. Being a very soft tyre they exceptionally kind on floors and provide great operator comfort. Pneumatic castor wheels have a bit of bounce which lowers the rolling resistance on uneven surfaces. Therefore, they protect the transportation unit from much of the impacts from bumpy surfaces.

This wheel tapers in and the tyre's contact area with the floor is 26mm.The Blue Elastic Rubber offers a higher load capacity over standard grey or black rubber tyres and will not mark floors. Furthermore, it provides a cushioning effect that helps absorb rolling vibrations which makes it quieter and more comfortable for the user.

75mm Polyurethane (Premium Grade REVVOTHANE) Ty... Read Morere on a Cast Iron Centre Wheel running on precision 12mm Ball Bearings. This is high performance wheel and the stated load capacity is based on the wheel being manually propelled at 4 km/h (walking speed).
As a high performance wheel it is often used in much more demanding applications than a standard polyurethane tyre castor wheel. As with all polyurethane tyred wheels, demanding applications involving extended periods of use or speeds greater 4 km/h the friction will generate heat build up in the polyurethane. REVVOTHANE is a high quality polyurethane that offers minimal heat build up and performs exceptionally well within the following guidelines:
If the wheel be in continual use for more than 45 minutes, this reduces the load capacity by 25%.
The load capacity is reduced by a further 30% if used as Drive Wheel
Reduce load by further 20% if the running speed is between 6 km/h and 10 km/h
Reduce the load by a further 30% if the running speed is between 10 km/h and 16 km/h
Nowadays, most castors and wheels in the UK are described metrically. However, many people still refer to castors using imperial measurements. The most common are:
